THE FAMOUS JULY THE 4TH
Today is July the 4th, the day of the Independence of the United States. It has been very different from what I was expecting. I imagined it was going to be like in the Hollywood movies, with aliens invading the United States; or people on the streets singing the hymn... However, it was a very relaxed day, like any other national vacation. The shops were closed, and the streets were quite empty. I have been hanging around Brooklyn. Went to Prospect Park, and ate sushi take away. At night I went to see the fireworks from Brooklyn Hights promenade. The views were astonishing. I still don't believe I'm here.
